CHICAGO, IL — Helios Healthcare Advisors is pleased to announce the sale of an Assisted and Independent living campus located in Lockport, a suburb of Buffalo, NY. The campus consisted of 40 Assisted Living units in one building and 24 Independent Living units across twelve duplexes.
The property had a long history of providing excellent care to residents in the community. Constructed in 1989, the property was 100% private-pay, and historically has remained above 90% occupancy on average.
A process was ran to carefully select a purchaser who would be able to maintain the same quality of care while having strong ties to the community, residents, and staff. A non-for-profit group based in western New York was the ultimate winning bidder.
Helios worked with all parties to help navigate New York’s arduous license transfer proceedings, allowing the sale to be completed through an accellerated process. The final purchase price was $5,865,000.
