Chicago, IL – Helios Healthcare Advisors (“Helios”) is pleased to announce its role in arranging the acquisition financing for a portfolio of Assisted Living & Memory Care communities in Alabama (the “Communities”) for the SouthCorp Group, a Georgia-based real estate investment firm.
Totaling 88-units, with 16 SCALF licenses, the Communities are located in Troy, one of the fastest growing cities in Alabama, and Enterprise in Coffee County.
Helios was engaged to run a process first to identify an operating partner for SouthCorp, then secured the acquisition financing to effectuate the transaction. The transaction represents SouthCorp’s first acquisition in the seniors housing industry.
New Jersey-based Distinctive Living was selected to manage the Communities on behalf of the SouthCorp Group.
