Helios Healthcare Advisors Arranges Corporate Credit Facility Secured by Portfolio of Assisted Living & Memory Care Communities

CHICAGO, IL — Helios is pleased to announce its role in arranging a corporate credit facility (the “Facility”) secured by a portfolio of assisted living and memory care communities across four locations in Alabama on behalf of Country Place Senior Living (“CPSL”), a portfolio company of a Hong Kong-based alternative investment manager.

Engaged as financial advisor to CPSL, Helios secured the Facility through a regional lender based in Atlanta, GA for general corporate purposes and to complete renovations on a portfolio of assisted living and memory care communities CPSL recently acquired in Texas.

“The Alabama assets were stabilized and had no property level debt so presented themselves as ideal candidates to pool into a collateral package in order to access the financing needed for other purposes” said Managing Director Mario Santiago. “It was difficult to find a lender in this market who would entertain the dividend recap, however the strength of CPSL’s corporate team, operating platform and supporting sponsor were able to generate the interest necessary to get this transaction across the finish line”.
