Mario Santiago

Throughout his career, Mario has specialized in private sell-side, buy-side, and capital markets advisory specifically in the U.S. healthcare sector. With a focus namely in the long-term care, seniors housing, home health, and behavioral health industries, Mario has over 10 years of transactional and advisory experience and a track record exceeding $1B. 

Prior to founding Helios, Mario was at a national healthcare real estate focused advisory firm. Prior to that, he was at a national debt/equity provider to the seniors housing and long-term care industry. From 2015 – 2017 Mario was member of the American Seniors Housing Association Rising Leaders.

Outside of Helios, Mario is associated with various civic and arts organizations including the Art Institute of Chicago and the Union League Club of Chicago where he serves as First Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Luminarts Cultural Foundation.

Mario received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from DePaul University’s Driehaus College of Business.
