CHICAGO, IL — CHICAGO, IL — Helios Healthcare Advisors is pleased to announce its role in structuring the sale of a 146-bed nursing home located in Springfield, MO.
Helios was engaged by Mercy, a St. Louis-based non-profit healthcare network with over $5 Billion in revenue to facilitate the sale of a nursing facility (the “Facility”) in their portfolio. The Facility was owned on a leased-fee basis and well located between Mercy‘s regional acute care and clinical sites. Mercy‘s tenant was one of the largest private operators of nursing homes in the state. The market’s interest in the asset remained high as numerous offers from healthcare real estate investment groups were procured. The current tenant triumphed as the most aggressive purchaser and a transaction was structured to sell the Facility to them.
“Helios quarterbacked the entire deal from start to finish,” noted Kevin Holleran, Executive Director of Real Estate for Mercy. “Ultimately, Helios aligned with our culture which was most important. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and ease of the transaction.”
