CHICAGO, IL — Helios Healthcare Advisors is pleased to announce its role in the sale of a 65-unit Assisted/Independent senior campus located in Sweet Home, OR.
Helios was engaged by Samaritan Health Services (“Samaritan”), a non-profit, integrated delivery healthcare system based in Corvallis, OR to facilitate the sale. Samaritan acquired the asset through a health system merger and determined it to be non-core to its primary service objectives.
Helios worked prudently to market the community and secured a handful of qualified offers. Ultimately, a regional provider was selected, due to their ties to the local market and plan to enhance the service offering through a memory care expansion on the campus.
“This deal was truly a win-win for all parties involved. The planned memory care expansion received tremendous support from the city council and local municipalities”, said Helios Managing Director Bill Janis. “In addition, Samaritan retained a portion of the parcel sold and has plans to construct an urgent care clinic contiguous to the senior campus which will help create a more integrated setting.”
