Helios Healthcare Advisors Structures Sale of Assisted & Independent Living Campus in Linn County, OR

CHICAGO, IL — Helios Healthcare Advisors is pleased to announce its role in the sale of a 65-unit Assisted/Independent senior campus located in Sweet Home, OR. 

Helios was engaged by Samaritan Health Services (“Samaritan”), a non-profit, integrated delivery healthcare system based in Corvallis, OR to facilitate the sale. Samaritan acquired the asset through a health system merger and determined it to be non-core to its primary service objectives.

Helios worked prudently to market the community and secured a handful of qualified offers. Ultimately, a regional provider was selected, due to their ties to the local market and plan to enhance the service offering through a memory care expansion on the campus.

The planned memory care expansion received tremendous support from the city council and local municipalities”, said Helios Managing Director Bill Janis. “In addition, Samaritan retained a portion of the parcel sold and has plans to construct an urgent care clinic contiguous to the senior campus which will help create a more integrated setting.”
