Chicago, IL – Helios is pleased to announce its role in structuring the sale of Assisted Living Community in Illinois.
Harvest View of Herscher (the “Community”) consisted of 42 assisted living units on an 8-acre site. Family-owned and developed as a planned unit development, the Community was constructed in 2008 to bring much needed seniors housing and services to Herscher and the surrounding Kankakee County. The intention was to further expand the project to include market rate multi-family housing.
Engaged to run a process to find an acquirer who could see value in continuing the original mission of the venture, Helios ultimately moved forward with Peoria, Illinois-based Petersen Healthcare who took over operations June 1, 2022.
Helios served as the exclusive sell-side advisor throughout the transaction.
